DuoSolo is committed to programming music that pushes boundaries and tests the limits of technical and musical possibility. In addition, we are dedicated to the idea that music should be communicative and relatable to its place and time of composition, and to the place and time of performance. A DuoSolo program seeks to take audiences on an emotional and intellectual ride. To that end, all DuoSolo programs blend solo and duo repertoire together, provide new sound worlds within each piece. 

DuoSolo's love for contemporary music grew out their enjoyment in working with living composers. These composers, many of whom are now dear friends, are frequently represented on DuoSolo concerts. Some of these composers include:
